When we first purchased the building we contacted the Historical Society to see if they could tell us anything about its history. While they didn't have much information, they did send us a photo they had of the place, but weren't sure when it was taken.

The lower front of the building is the same as the drawing we have, but it has clearly been vacant for some time in this photo. It's interesting that when we got it, the boards in the windows in this photo were still there even though there had been other renovations done after this was taken - the lowering of the first floor ceilings and the change of the lower front.
